With top business schools offering MBA programs across the globe, choosing where to study is an important decision. Each country offers its own unique experience as a place to live and study. So, what's it like to study in China?
In this video we hear all about the MBA experience in China from Wang Jianqiao and Priosoetanto Gabriella, two students on the International MBA at Shanghai University Jiao Tong Antai College of Economics and Management.
Highlights of their MBA experience in China include the friendships they've made, the extracurricular opportunities they've been able to take part in, and the career growth they've undergone since entering the program.
For Wang Jianqiao, studying from both Eastern and Western perspectives inside the classroom was enlightening in providing him with a well-rounded understanding of business.
Priosoetanto Gabriella also enjoyed the international nature of the program, which welcomes exchange students from other regions such as Europe each semester. Such connection opportunities allowed both students to expand their networks with other professionals from across the globe.
Getting involved in campus life is one of the core ways that students can enhance their MBA experience and both Wang Jianqiao and Priosoetanto Gabriella seized opportunities to do this. Wang Jianqiao joined the Student Union as vice secretary of the Clubs Department, while Priosoetanto Gabriella took on the role of class representative early in her MBA.
Both students feel studying their MBA in China has provided an enriching learning experience and one that will provide them with vast career opportunities after graduation.
