Ye Mao Matteo and Jesse Wu enrolled in the PKU Guanghua MBA to develop their international exposure.

Originally from Italy but the son of Chinese parents, Mao felt the MBA program would allow him to broaden his awareness of Chinese culture and discover some of the intricacies of his heritage.

Since joining the program, he has been able to seize many opportunities to immerse himself in Chinese business culture through interactions with local companies. He feels combining these experiences with an interest and knowledge of global business culture can have a profound impact on his career.

For Jesse, enrolling in the PKU Guanghua MBA was a chance to develop the skills she would need to take the next in her career. Reflecting on the areas where she has seen the most development so far, she feels communication, entrepreneurship, and marketing are where she has been able to flourish. She has also been able to use the PKU Guanghua MBA network to expand her career.

Through the PKU Guanghua MBA program, Mao has been able to gain an internship at Ctrip, the largest online travel agent in China. He is using his global expertise to support the firm's expansion into the European market.

Mao feels the strategic thinking skills, networking opportunities, and cultural awareness he has gained through the MBA have been pivotal in his internship so far and will continue to provide a platform for career growth moving forward.
